He Took my Weaknesses
He, Jesus Himself, took my weaknesses so I can be healed and strong. There were too many years that I didn’t know this. My mom and dad were Christians, but they didn’t know this. I remember my childhood filled with trips to the pediatrician for this and that.
My Search
As a young mother, I still didn’t know the truth found in God’s Word about healing and health. Our two oldest children suffered with asthma, allergy shots and numerous doctor visits. However, when our youngest child was a baby, I found out the truth. I saw for myself the multitude of scriptures on healing. Actually, I went on a search. I had to know: “Was it God’s will for my children to be sick?”
What I Discovered
I searched he Old Testament and I then searched the New Tes
tament to find every scripture I could find about healing and health. Emerging from this in-depth search, I knew without a doubt that God’s will was healing and health. He had paid the price for all of His born again believers who would believe.
Matthew 8:17b
“He Himself took (in order to carry away) our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases.” AMP
Declaration:
Jesus took my weaknesses and infirmities and bore away my diseases. By His stripes I am healed.
