2. Where are we going to
If you and I don’t know what we are really eating, it will be rather impossible to discover what we need to know in order to change.
Years Ago
Many years ago, (many), I began keeping record of what I was eating. I learned some very valuable things. First, I was drinking basically no water. Second, I was eating quite a bit of dessert (not Paleo for sure) each weekend.
The Value of a Food Diary
By keeping a record of what you are and are not eating and drinking, you will discover your eating patterns that need changing. You may also discover you are eating rather good choices, but thinking you aren’t. This alone can put on weight because of the weight of worry in your head. My wonderful fitness trainer of years back, Lina LaRock, made such a memorable statement: I first had to lose the pounds in my head.”

The Food Diary we use in Fabufit has a column for Credit Foods (those that build health and fitness), and a column for Debit Foods (those that tend to destroy health and fitness.) It has a place to record the number of glasses of water consumed daily and places to record Hunger/Full Index.
