2019 – The Year of Abundant Harvest
John and I learned about creating a vision for an Abundant Harvest this past month. We had the privilege of going to the SouthWest Believer’s Convention at the Fort Worth Convention Center. There were some 10,000 believers from all over the world attending this week of faith-filled teaching. There were other 16,000+ attending online. It was a wonderful week.
I took copious notes and have been going back over and highlighting, studying and putting into practice all the Lord revealed to us. Kenneth Copeland has been doing these Fort Worth Convention Weeks every year for the past 39 years. We have been to many but missed too many. Thankfully, we didn’t miss this one.
2019
Jerry Savelle, an evangelist who travels all over the world taking the Gospel of the Good News of Jesus Christ, taught on Monday afternoon. He revealed to us the vision God had given to him in October of 2018 concerning the year of 2019. It correlated exactly with the vision of Abundant Harvest the Lord had given to Kenneth Copeland for 2019.
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord does nothing except He reveals it to his prophets.
2 Chronicles 20:20 Believe in the Lord your God, and
you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets,
and you will succeed.
Run with the Vision
“2019 will be a Year of Wonders, Marvels, and Extraordinary Manifestations of the
Greatness of our God”
Habakkuk 2:2 tells us to write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run that reads it. These prophetic words from the Lord will only apply to those who will believe them and act on them. Write the vision. Have it in a prominent place or places where you see it easily every day. Declare it daily. Writing your vision becomes your document of what is about to happen. It helps you stay focused. It creates a goal and an objective. Write it and keep it before your eyes and in your mouth. Become your own best cheerleader. Mix faith with it and it will profit you. It will come to pass.
You might enjoy, as we have, the new book Jerry Savelle has just published about this vision called Wonders, Marvels, and Extraordinary Manifestations of the Greatness of God. We bought it at the convention, but as I search to give you a link, I realize it must not be on the market yet.
Marvels
Marvels cause a person to stand at attention, to pause, and gaze. Our God is a wonder-working God. Think of a few marvels in the Bible: taxes paid out of a fish’s mouth, multiplying the fish and loaves, a donkey speaking, a whale taking Jonah safely through the sea, a young boy killing a huge giant named Goliath with a slingshot. What would be a marvel for you in your life? We need to be expecting marvels, wonders, surprises. This is a great attitude of expectation to have. It can be developed.
Behold I make a covenant. I will do marvels in
all the earth. Exodus 34:10
Wonders
What is a wonder? Wonders are things you have never seen before. They are anything that makes you wonder how God ever did that. You know there is no way that could have happened except God. It is defined as unusual and often even strange things that arrest the attention through their grandeur and magnificence.
Extraordinary Manifestations
These are things beyond the common order.
Psalm 90:16,17 Let your work , the signs of your power, be revealed to us your servants, and
your Majesty to all our children.
Abundant Harvest
Abundant Harvest is all connected to wonders, marvels, and extraordinary manifestations of the greatness of our God. The Covenant of Miracles is still in effect. Boswell said “If Jesus indeed is still alive, let Him do now what He did then. We are His vessels today. The God of Wonders is still working.”
Psalms 77:14 Thou art the God that doeth wonders.
Our Family
Tonight we had the joy of taking 4 of our 5 older grandchildren out for a special dinner before the school year begins. Austin leaves for college Saturday morning with his Senior year at Wiley College on his baseball scholarship. Kylie leaves for her first year at Texas State on her brother, Nathan’s, birthday, August 17th.
- Four College Grans
- Older Grans
We’ve had such a wonderful summer, which has included all of our grandchildren. It is such a blessing to have time with them. We have an abundance of family birthdays in July and August.

Sounds great.
Margaret, it really was. This is going to be a wonderful year for you.
