Astonished April
Yes, I call this “Astonished April”. Why? I pray April will find itself astonished (as will we) as healing sweeps through the United States and the world, overcoming the Pandemic currently trying hard to defeat us. Our prayers, our hope, and our expectational words of victory will fill the atmosphere and drive out the darkness. God tells us in His Word that the darkness has never overcome the light. We declare that it will not now either.
Give Light and the Darkness will Disappear of Itself
“Have you ever thought about this: You can walk into a store and buy a flashlight, but you can’t buy a flashdark. That’s because darkness can never overcome light.” Quote from ChristianQuotes.info
It is the Other Way Around
“It is the other way around: Light always overcomes the darkness. “This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” Quote from ChristianQuotes.info
We Walk in the Light
“If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:5-7). If someone says they know God but still lives a sinful lifestyle, they are really still in darkness because “all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever does make manifest is light” (Ephesians 5:13). ” Quote from ChristianQuotes.info
Spring is Filled with Light
Spring knows victory is here and fills the air with excitement as we begin the month of April. The virus facing our nation today hates spring and summer weather. It doesn’t do well at all in heat. Aren’t we glad? Easter is just around the corner and we will have the time to remember and celebrate the fact that our Lord Jesus is RISEN from the dead. He paid a price He didn’t owe for a debt we couldn’t pay. How grateful we are.
He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!
This means so much more than anyone of us can even imagine. It has even more meaning in such a time as this. We have hope. We have extreme hope because Jesus is alive, and He is the Light that overcomes the darkness.
He Paid the Price
Although Jesus was fully God, He came to earth as a man such as we are and lived his life without sin. He did this so He could legally pay the price for our sin. By doing this, He satisfied the courts of the universe. He redeemed us from the curse of the law: sin, sickness, poverty, defeat. And, yes, He did it for us, for YOU and for me. Our part is to appropriate this blessing for our lives by reading His Word, believing His Word, renewing our minds to what this Word says, and then declaring it into the atmosphere.
God is doing mighty things. Thank you, Lord!
