Prepare for the Season with These Two Simple Strategies
Having an October birthday along with other family October birthdays requires me to begin thinking about my fat-burning strategies early. I began early in October this year. John and I had a dinner dance that included a very delicious dinner. Then came my daughter-in-law’s birthday breakfast with the daughters followed by a special dinner out with our oldest grandson and his girlfriend. So special!! And then how I enjoyed the week of my birthday. I stretched it to a couple of weeks this year. Why not? I also decided this year to begin the reversal of years. It’s a rather good idea.
17 Ounces of Water
Drinking 17 ounces of pure water before or after a debit food (health-destroying food) that you know you love, but also know it has the potential of stealing fitness and health can be very valuable according to research done at Volhard Clinical Research Center in Berlin, Germany. This research found that after subjects drank 17 ounces of water their metabolism rate increased by 30% within 10 minutes and didn’t peak until about 40 minutes later.

Please hear what I am saying. I do not mean to just go eat like crazy and then take these two actions. What I am saying is “Eat with intention and boundaries, but give yourself the freedom to enjoy those very favorite holiday foods with the decision made to implement the water and hoe downs.”
