Chocolate Ice Cream for Paleo Fans

Who Loves Chocolate Ice Cream?

John and I do. I had tried so many Paleo recipes for chocolate as well as vanilla ice cream that would meet Paleo Inch Loss Guidelines. None of them worked well. They were either too time consuming or didn’t taste fabulous. So I just made up our own. We can make it in the blender in about 5 to 7 minutes. It is mostly crushed ice, but tastes so good.

The main ingredient is crushed ice. John happens to own an Ice House that makes soft crunchy crushed ice, so that works perfect. We have a Blendtec blender, but I am quite sure it would would work with almost any blender. You may need to put the ice in a little at a time as blending.

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz. Light Coconut Cream from Can or Carton
  • 1 ¾ TBLS Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Scoops Cocoa Protein Powder (1/2 Cup)
  • 1/3 Cup Pure Baking Cocoa or more if desired
  • Pinch Sea Salt
  • 2 TBLS Raw Honey + Dropper Liquid Stevia
  • 4 Cups Crushed Ice

Directions:

Mix all but ice in powerful blender. Add the ice a little at a time  and blend until ice cream.  If you wish:
