Hello Danceable December

December has danced in with its array of bright lights, shopping and joyful memories to be made.  Next to November, December may be my favorite month of all. This year I feel like I am just a little ahead, at least in my Christmas shopping. Are you using Amazon Prime? Oh my goodness this has made shopping so much faster and easier. I tried to take advantage of the Black Friday sales and managed to cover all of the smaller grandchildren’s gifts. Actually, I have ordered so many things through Amazon and other places that it seems like Christmas everyday that a new package arrives.

I’m using my Santa’s Bag free app to keep up with my Christmas Budget. It really is amazing. My only problem is that once I have all the gifts accounted and budgeted for, I want to immediately go search for more gifts to give.  I do like to give.

John and I have already taken our family Christmas picture. This year we were so thankful to be able to have everyone together for Thanksgiving and have a time to take the picture. One grandson nonchalantly hid behind his brother, which made us think we had really missed our one time opportunity. Our daughter, Brooke’s, good friend, Mark, came to the rescue and photoshopped this hidden grandson back in. Oh what a lifesaver Mark was. Could you guess the grandson that thought he had hidden? It was one of the big guys.

Plans for December

Yes, December does get so very busy.  It seems that once December 1 arrives on the calendar the days begin to go by in double time. We celebrated John’s birthday (the 4th) with a short trip to our timeshare at Lake Texhoma (Tanglewood Resort) and have enjoyed every minute of it. John has helped me with the Christmas cards and I have worked on my website. This past 30 days I purchased a training through WordPress Live that gave me access to WordPress experts at anytime for 30 days. Thankfully, I have been able to make full use of this investment and have learned and corrected so many things that I have been doing wrong. They helped me get connected again with my Fabufit Facebook page and learn how to see and respond to messages. Surely at some near point in time I will begin to get things figured out. If I knew how to send you a link to this page I would. I think it is Fabufit.dani.

 

So Grateful

I am so very grateful for God’s gracious gift of His Son at this Christmas time. I am so very very grateful as well for His greatand marvelous blessings. John and I rejoice that we have the health, balance and strength to dance and do Crossfit Training.

We don’t ever take these blessings for granted. December is filled with dancing for us. Here is one of our latest dance events. Our daughter, Brooke, says “my parents are dancing their golden years away.” It is a joyful time being with dancing friends and doing something we both like so much together.

I pray your December is filled with good things. May God fill you up with good memories and comfort you in all sadness. May He give you two blessings for every trouble.
