Do You Feel Like You are Going in Circles?
Do you ever feel like, as hard as you try, you seem to be going in circles? I know I certainly do on many occasions. I was encouraged as I read about the paths of righteousness in Psalm 23. This past year I have been reading from The Passion Translation. It has so many wonderful notes referring back to the original language written in.
Circular Paths of Righteousness
“He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness.” Psalm 23:3 (TPT note going back to original tanslations, says “circular paths of righteousness.” He continues to reveal that it is a common trait for sheep on the hillsides of Israel to circle their way up higher. They eventually form a path that keeps leading them higher.
Higher and Higher One Step at a Time
Each step we take as we follow our Good Shepherd will lead us higher, even though it may seem we are going in circles. Life takes faith to live victoriously. Believing our circles are taking us higher and higher also takes faith. Without faith it is impossible to please him.
Consistent baby steps in the right direction bring victory. We are always taking steps on the Success Path or the Failure Path as Jeff Olson reveals. Find out more:
Little by Little One Travels Far
Little by little you can travel a very far distance. One major trick of the enemy is to tell you that unless you jump in with big quantum steps on an eating or exercise path, you will get nowhere. This is absolutely not true. Little steps make the difference in your life path.
Quantum leaps often become overwhelming and a “give up” on your good choices. One small change at a time will begin to swap health-destroying habits for health-building habits. This process will be one far easier to be taken to autopilot where the miracle of transformation begins. Where the Magic Happens
