A Few Left
How grateful I am for so many of you who have gotten the 2016 Fabufit Paleo Recipe Book. Thank you! Many have also gotten extra for family and friends. Each year I work through the year evaluating the best ever recipes that are keepers for the next edition and the new ones I have tested and tried among the myriads of Paleo ideas out there.
This year’s book has some over-the-top mouth-watering recipes in it. I’m pretty excited about them as many are ones I made up from favorite recipes adapted. Others are unique and exquisite and not to be missed. Here are a few:
Squash Casserole
Chicken Alfredo
Greta’s Simple Pancakes
Paleo Blender Ice Cream
Coffee Cake
Orange Cake
Lemon Cake with Lemon Zest Topping
Caramelized Slivered Almonds
This year I ordered a bigger order of books to have extra to take to our Kickoff Crossfit Event of the year. There are a very few left, that I would like to offer at a discounted price of $23 versus $27.

My success story for sticking to my healthy choices. I am happy to report that since the fast with our church in January 2016, until now I have not had sugar in my tea (HUGE) and no soft drinks. The challenge for February was hard for me. I am a pretty healthy eater now, but in my 20’s-30’s I was nicknamed the Junk food junkie! I had great metabolism and did not gain weight, but overall it was not healthy eating. Now in my 60’s that is quite a different story. It started in my 50’s, so I knew it was time to do something, if I did not want to be over weight and have health issues. I choose not to OVER eat sweets and chips, but I do still like them. Started a routine of putting a bottle of water on my bathroon counter, so when I get up in the middle of the night I drink at least half the bottle before going back to bed. Then I finish it the morning when I wake up and start the next bottle. Keeps me from dreading to get it all down during the day. Sticking to the challenge I am happy to say I lost from 133 to 125 and 3 inches. My goal now is exercise more and firm up! I eat mostly salads with dressing on the side, (This does cut down the calories.) fruits, vegtables, and very little meat. A small dessert ONLY if it is one of my favorites, otherwise I skip it. We go every Tuesday night with our bowling team to eat Mexican food. Now I eat their steamed vegetables, instead of tacos or nachos. More guacamole on less chip, where that used to be reversed! Water for my beverage!
Healthy choices are becoming more my lifestyle and I am grateful. Thanks for all the ladies who keep us encouraged and together we will all become stronger.
Thanks Dani for being such a wonderful GODLY role model and teacher!!
I love you!
Donna
