1. God knows your desires and needs…”for your Heavenly Father knoweth that you have need of all these things.” (Matthew 6:32)
2. God wants those dreams and goals to happen. “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” (Psalm 37:4)
3. God expects you to document those desires by writing them down as a covenant between you and Him. “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables that he may run that readeth it.” (Habakkuk 2:2)
4. God will impart the Divine Schedule and plan for the achieving of your goal. “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3)
5. God wrote His own goals and dreams down in the word. “For I know the
thought that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thought of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Mary Kay Ash, a beautiful business leader, had the remarkable habit of writing down her daily goals–six things she would do that very day. She wrote them down in the order and sequence of their priority or value. Her business was valued at over 1 billion dollars at her death. Not bad for a single parent living in an apartment and unemployed when she started.
