Our Fabufit Four Weeks to a Lifetime course began last week. I love learning and I love teaching these classes. I’ve heard it said that you only keep that which you give away. This has certainly been true for me. Each time I prepare to teach, I become more passionate and more committed to share hidden fitness and health treasures I have learned and am learning. This year is no different. Oh the things I am learning!
We are Wired for Love
About two weeks ago I was reminded of Dr. Caroline Leaf, a cognitive neuroscientist, from North Africa. The Holy Spirit seemed to really nudge me to purchase her new book and her online course called 21 Day Brain Detox. Goodness, this information is life changing. Dr. Leaf is also a spirit-filled Christian and beautifully shows how science is just now catching up with the teachings of Jesus. Dr. Leaf says we are wired for Love, joy, peace, thankfulness. These thoughts when acted upon create beautiful healthy networks in our brain. We are not wired for Fear. Fearful thoughts of worry, anxiety, stress, bitterness bring chaos, toxic networks and brain damage. Thankfully, we can change.
We can melt toxic trees and grow new healthy trees.

Of course, I can’t help but add this wonderful additional information to my classes. The week, Class Two is called Think and Grow Fit. I have added a subtitle: Think and Change Your DNA, as I weave in this understanding of how science and the Bible work in such agreement.
