Finding Hope in February
A new year can be filled with hope. It can also be defeating and sad, if we allow our emotions and our body to rule us. Here are ten guidelines I have set for myself, that I pray will be a big help for each of you too. Discipline with the right mindset is actually a beautiful freedom. Most of these ten are guidelines for fitness and health. Since health is a circle, they will interweave in a good way with every other area of life.
May God strengthen you to experience the best February you have ever had.
I will daily pray for the anointing of discipline: discipline to think on things good and pure and lovely and of a good report. I will ask for discipline to make wise choices, discipline to take the time to bless and thank the Lord for my food before I eat, and discipline to submit my day to the Lord for His help, His direction, and His comfort.
I will enjoy the ones I am with and think about them more than any food before me.
I will eat ONLY the DEBIT FOODS (health and fitness destroying foods) I really love. I will eat them slowly and savor every bite. I will enjoy one serving.
I will follow any DEBIT FOOD with erasers: Water WATER Paul Harvey Reviews Your Bodys Many Cries for Water and Hoe Downs
I will search for CREDIT FOODS at any event or special meal I attend. I will pray for that anointing of discipline. I will plan my Event Battleplan before I go. Good decisions are too stressful on our willpower when we are in the midst of the situation.
I will remain at 4 – 6 on the new_Hunger-Full_Index: Never too hungry and never too full.
I will measure my daily water each morning and decide to drink it before the day ends: 1/2 of my body weight in ounces.
I will exercise 6 days a week. (My exercise includes two things I enjoy so much: Ballroom Dancing and Crossfit. Search for exercise you enjoy and develop the habit of exercise.)
I will evenly space my meals and nutrient dense snacks throughout the day.
I will honor the EATING CUT OFF time I have decided upon: 7:30PM
