God Bless You with a Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
As we celebrate this wonderful day, we count our blessings. My heart goes out to those of you who have lost loved ones. My Dad, my sister and two small grandbabies are celebrating another Christmas in Heaven this year. Thankfully, my Dad lived a long happy life and loved the Lord Jesus. Thankfully, my sister, Jacque, did make Jesus her Lord before her early death in 2012. Our two grandbabies never had a chance to celebrate Christmas on the earth. Brooke’s precious Kayla, (Kylie’s identical twin sister), went on to Heaven at only 8 days old; and Brennon’s precious Christian never made it to his birth. We rejoice that we will see them again.
I realize for many of you that your losses are far greater than mine. God bless you and comfort you. Recently I saw a post on Facebook that touched my heart. Maybe it will touch yours as well. It was called Christmas in Heaven. Let’s imagine them here with us wishing you each a Merry Christmas.
Family
Our son, Pace, and his family will be in Colorado with Dana’s mom this Christmas. Shea is on a ski trip with a friend. Thankfully, we will have our daughter, Brooke, and her family and our daughter, Brennon, and her family here with us Christmas Eve and dinner at Brooke’s Christmas Day. Mom will be with us Christmas Day. Our precious Cameron is supposed to fly home from a trip to L.A. Christmas Eve. Chandler is home from college. John and I are cooking our first ever Prime Rib for Christmas Eve. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
Jesus Is The Reason For The Season..
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Emanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” ~Matthew 1:22-23
Our Christian Family
We thank the Lord for our local church family at North Place Church, and our Christian friends all over who share in our same joy of being called “Christians” and having the freedom to worship. We pray for those in other parts of the world who no longer have that freedom.
Our Friends
Who are such a blessing in our lives.
The Covenant of Divine Health
Great and precious promises.
God’s Mighty Provision
Money in our bank, a roof over our head and food on our table.
Our Greatest Blessing
Jesus Christ, who becomes more precious to us each year. For He loved us and gave Himself for us. He walks with us and talks with us and answers every prayer we pray in faith. “All the promises of God in Him are ‘yes’ and amen.”
May God bless you and keep you this coming year. May He mightily protect you and show Himself strong in your behalf.
