He is Risen Indeed!
Such a Special Holiday
For those of us who are Christians, Easter is our most favorite holiday. Such a story is told around Easter. Our precious Lord arose from the dead. The price He paid for us was finished when he died on the cross.
John and I are looking forward to a wonderful day having breakfast with our dear friends from Atlanta, Church with our children and families, and then Easter dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt at our daughter and son in law, Brennon and Brett’s home. John and I will bring my mom; our niece, Shea, will be joining us too. Sadly, we will be missing our two oldest grandson’s and another of the older boys. Chandler is at college in Missouri without a way home. Austin is in New Mexico playing with his college baseball team, (He’s the tallest in the photo.) in an out of town series (by the way, he pitched the first game of the series yesterday and won:) And our precious Cameron is touring the United States (the one in the plaid shirt.)
May You and Your Family Enjoy a Beautiful Easter Weekend
Remembering that He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!
Matthew 28:5-7 (KJV)
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
