Is it Really Worth It?
Is it worth it to be different and to determine to make the right health and food choices? It may not make much difference today and most people won’t make these good choices at all. But is it really worth it? Is there any research showing long term results? (Many times these results show up sooner than long term.)
Dr. Caroline Leaf, one of the world’s foremost cognitive research scientists, has named our American Diet the MAD Diet (Modern American Diet). She classifies all processed foods as MAD. These foods don’t actually fill us up. Rather they eventually kill us.
Life More Abundantly
Our Father God came to give us Life and give it more abundantly. He never intended for us to eat food that will kill us.
Let me share just a few findings from current research:
More and more studies are showing that there is a frightening association between the consumption of MAD foods, weight gain and also dementia.
A diet high in MAD foods throughout adolescence can worsen learning, memory and depressive and anxiety-like behavior.
Good News: We can renew our mind and remodel the biology of our brain.
The bottom line is that it is so very important to begin taking baby steps of better choices. The price is far too high to pay to continue in the MAD Diet Lifestyle.
