Majestic and Merciful May
Welcome Majestic and Merciful May! The word “Majestic” makes me think of the majestic King of King and Lord of Lords, who supplies all of our needs through His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. I have chosen to name my month “Majestic”. “Merciful” is included in my May name because “His mercies are new every single morning.” Just think of it: Each day as you awaken, you get a fresh supply of mercy.
Busy with Things We Love
I’m sure May is a busy season for you. It always is for us and this May is no different.
This first week of May one of our daughters and her husband are on a trip celebrating their 25th anniversary. We have the joy of spending the week with 14-year-old, Nathan. We do love time with our grandchildren any chance we get. They grow up so fast. I remember 1996 and 1997 when I was in the midst of planning weddings for all three of our children, who married within 11 months of each other. They are all three going on special anniversary trips this year.
Two Graduates
Two of our older grandsons graduate this year: Austin graduates from his Master’s program in Baseball Administration (completing internship now). We will be traveling to Stephenville next week for Braden’s graduation from Tarrelton in Engineering.
Cancun with Buchanan’s
We’ll close out the month with our little granddaughter’s dance recital. They have become beautiful little dancers already.
Shortly after the recital, we leave for a couple of weeks in Cancun with all of the Buchanan family as well as Nathan, who is joining us this year. This is always a trip to look forward to.
Our Church
What a joy to be in a church that inspires us to learn and do and grow. Dominion Life Church in Plano, TX was only discovered by us a year and 1/2 ago. And it is only 12 minutes from our home. This has become a major part of our life as we participate in 3 day teaching seminars often…. on Healing, Faith, New Man (who we are in Jesus Christ), and more. Although John and I have been Christians for a very very long time, we have never understood the Bible and the Great Commission Jesus gave us as we understand it now. We are in a Life Team that meets weekly and has become like family to us. Dominionlifechurch.org
Team Fabulous
We are just completing our “signature” course: 4 Weeks to a Lifetime, and will begin in late June, a course with some new and quite exciting information on How to Breakthrough a Stubborn SetPoint (the place where your body has chosen to stay in inches and pounds.)
Watch for enrollment on this!
