Meal Planning

MenuIdeasIdeas for Meal Planning

It seems that most of us are finding the Meal Planning to be one of our biggest obstacles. We are remembering the wisdom in this quote: “If we fail to plan, we are planning to fail.” We want to plan to succeed by creating the habit of planning.

We are all taking baby steps and learning more and more. In Class 3 we discussed creating a 21 Meal Rotation System for our Dinner Meals.

Realizing how important planning is and how difficult it is to get this established, I added a sheet in our latest journal, 4 Weeks to a Lifetime, with a weekly page devoted to creating this 21 Meal List and another page (page 21) with ideas of Paleo Choices from our Fabufit Paleo Recipe Cards. No worries if you don’t have this. I am currently working on our next Journal for our upcoming Renewing Your Mind Course. I will zero in on this concept more.

Using Sticky Notes to Place Meals on Days

Margaret found a great website with Menu Planning ideas using Sticky Notes.

Hello Dani,

I just came across this website and I thought I would send it to you.  I copied the sheets to start my planning journey.  http://www.homemadebycarmona.com/menu-planner/.

God Bless,

Margaret

Here is her video on how to create how sticky note system.

NOTE: She is not giving Paleo ideas, but the basic concept is  brilliant. Use your own categories remembering that we stay away from grains subbing nut flours instead.

I would suggest keeping it a bit more simple. Most of us have a few breakfasts and lunches we alternate. Dinner is the challenge. So begin by just using sticky notes for dinners.
