Happy 14th Birthday Kylie
Kylie was our first and only granddaughter for a very long time with five boy cousins and one brother. She is such a sweet, precious and beautiful young lady. She plays violin, dances (with Aunt “Miss Brennon” as her teacher), is in advanced classes in school, and is beginning to love to cook.
Brooke and Jim had all of us over for a birthday celebration on Sunday. We had turkey burgers and lots of delicious fruit. (a few chips and a delicious birthday cake Kylie made herself.)
I was quite proud of our kids, which I will call the “competitors” for the next few months considering the six-way challenge they are having amongst themselves to see who can look the best, loose the most and win $1000 before we go on our family vacation to Orange Beach in August. John and I had planned on this trip for our 50th anniversary last year. With Brennon expecting Cali in August, it wasn’t possible in 2014. Here is the Veranda Beach House we are all looking forward to.
Kylie’s little brother, Nathan and then all of Kylie’s Family.
Psalm 127:3-5
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate
