Chandler Buchanan

It seems only yesterday that our three children got married (over a 10 month period). That was a busy and exciting time for sure. Now our grandchildren are beginning to graduate from High School. How can this be? Austin graduated last year and is in college, Chandler will graduate in a little over a week. He is going to Link Year in Missouri, where he has attended a Christian Sports Camp for the past many years each summer. This school will give him a chance to solidify his Christian beliefs while also addressing his basic college courses. I love the idea and am so very glad he chose this path.

Brennon is our youngest child, married first, and now will be sending her oldest of five off to college. I know it will be hard for her and for us too. Chandler has become such a precious young man. He loves the Lord and is faithful with church and youth group every week. He  is an outstanding Basketball and Volleyball Player, just like his dad, Brett.  Volleyball may be his favorite. His select teams have played in nationals the past couple of years. No boys volleyball in Texas schools has been sad.

 I’d love to hear your thoughts on this phase of life. Do you have children or grandchildren graduating and leaving home?  Does it seem to you that time gone by a little too fast?
