Inch Loss Paths – Which One?
Isn’t it easy to get confused on the inch loss paths available? Which Inch Loss path is for you? There is always a new kid on the block as far as ways of eating go. Most of these come and go. Some resurface, maybe with another name. Most of these promise fast and easy results. Personally, I don’t like the word “Diet” because most every “diet” fails and more weight is gained with time than was ever lost. I do like the words “Way of Eating” because we all need some general guidelines and boundaries. There are some ways of eating that literally can stand the test of time.
Standing the Test of Time
Following the 3 Principles of Healthy Eating named in Rex Russel’s book “What the Bible Says about Healthy Eating” gives us some of the best advice ever on selecting a way of eating.
With these guidelines in place, it is very easy to adapt the Paleo or Blue Zones Way of Eating. Paleo leaves out the “Dairy” food group. This may be a good idea for some, as dairy can be an allergy trigger. It incorporates fresh whole vegetables and fruits, meats and healthy sweeteners. This works for me, as it is so easy to substitute coconut or almond milk. I do miss cheese, but can include it on some occasions if I choose to.
Paleo Mistakes
There are definitely some Paleo Mistakes that can be troublesome if you aren’t on the lookout. There are about 7 of them that I have observed as I have been around folks who eat this way of eating.
Blue Zones
Blue Zone is a way of eating and living that is making history. The city of Fort Worth, TX has risen from 185th out of 190 in well being in 2013 to 31st in 2019. What did they do? They began to follow the Blue Zone guidelines. They have become a Blue Zones Community, which has catapulted their overall health and happiness status.
This way of eating was found in studying the oldest of the old, people who have lived to 100 years old or more across the world. This eating plan follows the 3 Basic Principle Dr. Rex Russell mentions but eats very little meat.

Why I Like Paleo So Much
This week I have been thinking about why I do like Paleo so very much. It’s not that it is the only way of inch loss eating around, but with a few adjustments, it is one of the best.
Bottom Line
The reason I like Paleo eating so very much is because it is delicious and fun. Even though the Paleo Lifestyle has a learning curve, it has been well worth it. John and I look forward to all of our meals now. We don’t feel one bit deprived. Almost every meal, I find myself making the grateful comment: “How can this be so very good?” Every recipe is so good that it is hard to rotate them all. Let me show you just a couple of our meals this week so you can see:
