The Curse Came on All Mankind

What happened in the Garden of Eden is a vivid example of how no man’s actions stand alone. Adam and Eve had it made. They were extremely blessed.  They were given the assignment to multiply and replenish the earth. They were to extend the blessing all over the earth…to you and to me and to our children and grandchildren.

Disobedience Was Disaster

Curses

Because Adam and Eve chose to disobey and do the one thing God told them not to do, they brought sin into the world. Yes, because of their rebellion, the curse came upon you and me also. The curse contained everything we do not want: sickness, death, depression, failure, turmoil, poverty, and on and on.

The Great Love of Our Father

In His great love for us, God sent His son to dissolve the curse, so we didn’t have to live under the law of sin and death if we chose Jesus and what He had done, for us. Instead, He promised to give us the Blessing that was intended for all of us in the beginning.

“The thief comes in order to steal, to kill, and to destroy; but Jesus came so that we might have life and have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

Declaration

I am redeemed from the curse of the law.  I have the blessing of Abraham. Blessings are running me down and overtaking me.
