The Circle of Health
The Fabulous Circle of Health has been my love and passion for studying and teaching nutrition and health. It all began when I was struggling as a young mom (many years ago) with two children who were sick all of the time. Facing the frustration and expense of continually sick children, I began a detailed search of the scriptures on healing and health. My search convinced me that good health was a gift God has provided for everyone. I was convinced, but they were still sick:(
“My people are destroyed by a lack of knowledge.”
God tells us in Hosea 4:6
God began bringing people across my path and introduced me to the knowledge I never knew about health: Spirit, soul, and body. I learned about such things as eating good foods, taking good supplements, drinking enough water, exercising, and most importantly: declaring God’s word over my family, and always being quick to repent and ask forgiveness when I missed the mark.
Spirit

You and I are a spirit. We live in a body and we have a soul: mind, will, and emotions. God’s words are spirit and life. As we read and speak God’s word, we become stronger and healthier. God tells us to speak what we want to come to pass.
Body
“Do you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you…..You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body.” I Cor 6:10,20 (It is our responsibility to take care of this wonderful body God has given to us.)
“We are fearfully and wonderfully made.” ~ Ps 139:14
Soul (Mind, Will, Emotions)
As Christians, we are told to renew our mind and to not be conformed to this world.” Romans 12:2
Our every action has a consequence: “As you sow, so shall you reap.” Gal 6:7
Unforgiveness is a huge barrier to our health. “If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you of all unrighteousness.” ~ I John 1:9
We are told to think on good things:
“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you will do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious – the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.” Phil 4:8
Good News
As I applied what I learned, our children began to walk in health. John and I, our children, and now our grandchildren are strong and healthy. We rejoice and thank the Lord for giving us knowledge and the desire to follow the truths we learned.
