Time is Needed to Change Your Weight SetPoint
It is easy to miss some of the most important principles in weight loss. For instance, when one begins on a path of losing inches and pounds, it takes time for the SetPoint to change.
Prevention describes the weight “Set Point ” as the weight at which your body likes to be and at which your body can stay with little effort. For example, if you use a scale, (which I don’t anymore), it would be the number on the scale that your weight normally hovers around and doesn’t much like to budge from. If you use the tape measure, it would be the numbers on the tape measure where your body is quite happy to stay. Because changing your set point requires patience and consistency, we need to first know that it can be done. As a result, this will bring you confidence and encouragement. And the even better news is that once it is lowered to a new SetPoint, it wants to stay at this new lower number. Praise the Lord for this thought to think on.
