War Room

Last week my good friend, Donna, told me about the best movie she had ever seen. It had just come out. On Friday night, John and I finally carved out a time to go to see the movie. We had rather given up on movies for the past couple years, as there were so few we would have wanted to see.

Have You Seen the Movie Yet?

If you haven’t seen it, I encourage you to find where it is showing and go see it soon.  This movie not only has a wonderful story with tremendous acting, it is so inspirational. warroom6I began planning where I could create my own War Room, and by Saturday at 2, mine was created.

Creating Shelf Space

Admittedly, I do have a big closet. It was also filled to the brim. These shelves held shoes and clothes. I also had a standing jewelry case against the blank wall. After condensing and tossing for “give away”, I made room in my shelves for my Bible and other War Room supplies. Goodness, I forgot to take a “before” picture.

Hanging Clothes Goodbye

More space was created after I went through the bottom rack of clothes. I became so very motivated seeing that I was making progress, that I continued with the other side. I also cleared off the top of the closet chest.

Prayer Lists and Scriptures

Now, I actually have a space big enough for both John and me when he chooses to join me. Next, I was ready to begin putting some scriptures on the walls and typing out in a more beautiful format, “my top desires that I am believing God for”.  Already, I love this new space and seem to be so drawn to go there at every chance I can. What a few images from a movie can do to spur on the imagination.
