As John and I celebrate our 50th year of marriage this month, I declare this to be Jubilee June, the year of restoration of everything the enemy has stolen. In Biblical times, this was a wonderful year, the year of Jubilee.
After a very challenging week with my 94 year old Mom needing special help with going to the ER and then on to the hospital with a fractured T11, we hesitantly decided to not cancel our anniversary trip to Cancun. So very thankfully, my brother, Buddy, has been a special blessing stepping in to watch over Mom while we are gone. Our daughters, Brooke, Brennon and Shea has also been so precious to help with Mom; and Pace and Dana are jewels helping with our rental house and John’s Ice House. I thank the Lord for our wonderful family.
Time away has given me time to reread the classic book, Hung by the Tongue by Francis Martin. It was originally written in 1976 and updated in 2007. I am preparing my theme for June: The Power of the Tongue. Stay tuned to the Fabulously Fit blogs this month to get the highlights of this life-changing topic. Fabulously Fit Baby Boomer’s Club members be watching for your summary of this book as well as our upcoming Webcast/Teleconference course on the Power of Our Words.
