Welcome Mighty May
It is always a joy to welcome May. By faith, I declare this as “Mighty May”. For John and I, May is always busy, but beautiful, a month filled with family events and memories.
Our daughter, Brennon, and son-in-law, Brett, will have their third dance recital for their Legacy Dance Boutique on May 17th. Both Caris and Cali will be performing. We thought Cali would be afraid when she faced the lights and the crowd last year (at 3); but, instead, she loved performing and seemed to have not an ounce of fear.
This past weekend we traveled to Marshall to see our grandson, Austin, play in the final games of the season. It was such a joy to be there and to be invited to attend the final Baseball Banquet. Austin had rigorous practices and many weeks of out of town baseball series during this semester. How he also made the Honor Roll is hard to comprehend.
Our granddaughter, Kylie, graduates this year from Plano East High School. She celebrated her 18th birthday last week. Kylie is an amazing student taking Honors Classes and yet also working many hours a week at a little dress shop. We will have the joy of being with her for a week in Cancun the day after graduation.
Closer to 100
I must mention my Mom. Her 99th birthday comes up in a few weeks. Now that she has a new hairdresser she is looking younger and younger. Thank you, Jesus, for this precious Mom.
I’ve been intrigued about this group of amazing folks for years.

because I get older.”
