Open Heaven October
Each month at Fabulously Fit, we name our month to give us an extra boost of inspiration and encouragement. I thought of Opportunity October, but decided Open Heaven October encourages me more. What about you? What do you name your month of October?
By the way, isn’t this a beautiful picture of October? I found it on the free image site called Pixabay.com. In the summer of this year John and I visited our long time special friends in Marietta, GA. This looks exactly like the view from their backyard.
What’s Happening this Month?
This month, we are finishing up our Engaging Your Energy Teleconference Course and beginning a new course just in time to prepare for the food temptations ahead in the wonderful holiday season: Holiday Eating: How to Enjoy the Holidays without Wearing them in the New Year. My past weeks have been spent learning the basics of a free graphics program called Canva. (https://www.canva.com)
Learning to Create Ebooks and Workbooks
My goal in learning this program is to begin to create EBooks and Workbooks to go with each course taught. It has been a steep learning curve, but this past week I completed my first Canva workbook. It will accompany the Holiday Eating course. This is over the top exciting to me to have accomplished this because it looked so impossible to me in the beginning (and most of the way through). Thank you Lord for the gift of persistence and understanding. It is a fun workbook because it will be one that can either be printed out or it can be worked online with “fillable” blanks for the workbook answers.

Personal Update
As a personal update, among our nine grandchildren John and I have three grandsons in college this year. Last weekend we visited two of them who are in Stephenville, TX at Tarleton college. Chandler and Braden (cousins) are rooming together. It was family weekend and many of our family members went.
Another Graduating Senior
Our granddaughter, Kylie, graduates this year so I am in the midst of creating her graduation book through Chatbooks (chatbooks.com) and journaling through the journaling Bible I found for her. This Bible is so much fun to read and journal through that I actually can hardly wait each morning to get to this time.
If you’d like to see the post I sent out earlier about where I found this particular Bible and the pens to use with it, here is the link: Do you Bible Journal? The Chatbook for Kylie will be of her life up until now so she will have a special book of memories of her childhood. Earlier this month I created a post, Creating Memories, that you might like.
I would be honored to have you join in on the Holiday Eating course. The results might make a big difference in the joy and confidence you feel as you begin your 2019.
May your October 2018 be filled with blessings!
Dani
