I am looking forward to walking through this month’s theme on the Power of Our Words with you. This is a topic I began to study in the late 1970’s. Actually, I was quite amazed at the number of scriptures the Master put in His Word concerning our words. Once you become aware of this, you will see them everywhere you read. The challenge will be to not only recognize this, but to continually keep yourself refreshed and reminded of this truth.
For the month of June, I will focus our blog time on the thought that “Christianity is called the great confession.” The sad truth is that most Christians are defeated in life because they believe and confess the wrong thing. As one of my favorite teachers, Tom Leding, says, “They have spoken the word of the enemy and those words hold them in bondage!”
Mark 11:22,23 Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea’, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Watch for the next post. I will begin to explore the powerful truths associated with this life-changing topic. For now, let’s think on this thought:
If Jesus came to you personally tonight and said, “From this day forward every word you speak will come to pass exactly as you speak it.” Would that change your vocabulary?
